Terms and Conditions of Sale:
By ordering goods and services from BooBook Education Pty Ltd (ABN 16651033671) through this website, www.boobookeducation.com.au, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by any legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (including under the Australian Consumer Law).
Returns and Refund Policy:
BooBook Education (BBE) will not accept a return or offer a refund for any product unless it has been damaged in transit and you have notified us of the damage within 48 hours. The goods should be returned to us by Australia Post and we will replace them in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
If a significant error is found in the PDFs or other digital materials supplied, the error will be rectified and the material supplied again.
In the case of the supply of services, if BBE and you agree that the service has not met reasonable expectations then BBE will supply the services again, or waive the fee charged.
Prices and product information:
Prices and other product information quoted on the website are subject to change from time to time without notice. The price of goods ordered by you will be the price quoted on the website at the time you place your order. Although BBE takes all reasonable care to ensure that prices and other product information quoted on the website are correct at the time of publication, it reserves the right to correct any publishing errors and cancel orders made at an incorrect price.
Event registration transfer, cancellation and postponement policy:
BBE reserves the right to cancel or postpone events if minimum numbers are not attained. In the event of a cancellation registrants will be advised and any monies paid will be refunded. If the event goes ahead all registrant transfers and cancellations (ie requests for refunds) should be made in writing (e-mail is preferable) and should be received by BBE no later than 5 working days before the event. A 50% cancellation fee will apply if cancellation occurs within 5 working days of the event and no refunds are applicable if an individual does not attend an event. Registrations may be transferred to another person without penalty.
Membership:
BooBook Education Membership is ongoing, and application is via an online registration form. Membership is free.
BBE Publications:
Our resources are covered by the Copyright Act Australia 1968.
Copyright is owned by BooBook Education.
Resources are licensed to be used only within the confines of a single campus of the purchasing school and should not be altered without written permission from BooBook Education.
They may not be issued or passed on to any other party including other schools, other campuses of the purchasing school, practicing or non-practicing teachers, tutors, parents, digital platforms, websites or publishing agencies, without the written consent of BooBook Education.
BBE Privacy Policy:
Contact details provided to BBE are used for the express purpose of delivering BBE services as agreed. Uses of the information can include: processing payments, follow up calls, reminders, mail outs, generation of name tags and participant lists. No contact information provided to BBE is on-sold to a third party. More information is available here.
Security Policy:
When payment by credit card is offered, BBE uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for online credit card transactions. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.
