Our consultants have extensive experience in all English studies - English, EAL, English Language and Literature - and have deep knowledge of current study designs. They have worked in all school sectors and have had extensive experience in VCE assessment (including for VCAA), resource development, curriculum design and consultancy.
BBE in China
BBE has been working in China since 2017. We support China schools’ delivery of VCE EAL with comprehensive student and teacher handbooks for pre-VCE and Units 1-4 EAL, customised assessment tasks for SACs, and original listening tasks. We establish a virtual EAL faculty with off-shore teachers using WeChat to discuss approaches to teaching and learning; moderate SACs with offshore EAL teachers; collaborate and problem solve; support and encourage teachers and students in China.
In China, we deliver examination revision for students and consultation with EAL teachers on-site.We participate in the annual VCE Transnational Conference in China and presenting sessions about VCE EAL to schools.
